We’ve been lucky to develop the entire suite of six games for the PBS KIDS series Rosie’s Rules. Working closely with Scholastic, Brown Bag films and PBS KIDS, we’ve brought the world of the show to life in the interactive space, meticulously designing experiences that align to the shows themes, curriculum and goals.
Slime Store stands out as one of the top-performing games on the PBS KIDS website and Games app. It seamlessly combines creative open play with a simple in-game economy: customers arrive to purchase specific slime varieties, while kids enjoy crafting new slimes and earning coins to procure more slime supplies. A simple store play combined with tactile slime experience creates a game kids immediately understand and are excited to engage with.
The numbers speak for themselves! Slime Store has nearly 58 million game plays since launching in 2022. (Source: Google Analytics, pbskids.org game pageviews Oct 22-July 25, Dec 25-Jan 26, PBS KIDS Games App game plays, Oct 22 - Dec 25.)
Riding with Rosie was developed to highlight transportation vehicles that often fascinates young kids! The game leans into young children’s interest in mail trucks, buses and garbage trucks and creating playful and interactive opportunities for kids to operate these vehicles themselves!
Knowing children have a deep love of pets and animals, we developed Rosie Care, a game that allows children of all ages to participate in caretaking for all kinds of pets! Set up each animal’s area, play with them, and make sure they have enough food and water!
Guess Gatita gives Rosie’s cat a star turn in this playful guessing game! Players can choose between timed mode or free play as they match Gatita’s outfit to the correct theme, with free play rewarding them with fun prizes along the way.
Robot Planter Maker turns the concept of recycling and reuse into a fun, engaging game that provides applicable, real-world ideas of how kids can practice creative reuse and gardening at home! The game invites kids to recycle household items into flower pots and transform them into fun robot creations. Guided by Rosie, players can choose their pot, seeds, eyes, arms, and accessories to build and decorate a one-of-a-kind plant buddy.
In Rosie’s Flop Fiesta, players help Rosie prepare for a party by completing activities centered on cooking, cleaning, and decorating. As challenges pop up along the way, kids also practice problem-solving and learn simple strategies that help Rosie work through big feelings. The game encourages applicable strategies for emotional regulation and social-emotional learning.
